Anti-Fraud Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2025
Rapture Music Group maintains platform integrity through enforcement procedures detailed below.
1. Warning System
The company may issue up to two warnings to a client before considering account termination, except in severe cases warranting immediate action.
Warnings allow clients to address violations. Clients receive notice within 3 business days of discovery or report. Violations include:
- Intellectual property or trademark infringement
- Artificial or inflated streaming activity
- Breaches of DSP Terms of Service
- Breaches of platform monetization policies
2. Warning Levels
First Warning: Issued for repeat violations within 60 days of initial report, applying to artist and label accounts.
Second Warning: Issued when clients fail to act against end-user violations timely, new infringing activity increases, or violations repeat within 60 days.
Account Review: Following a second warning, Rapture Music creates a corrective plan with specific actions and quotas.
3. Consequences of Fraudulent Activities
Violations may result in:
- Infringing content removal
- Royalty withholding in escrow
- DSP distribution restriction or disabling
- End-user or client account termination
Investigation costs may be deducted from future payments, with potential legal action if damages exceed withheld amounts.
4. Account Blocking & Unblocking
Preventive Blocking: Temporary blocks occur upon detecting potential infringing activity, requiring client response within 5 business days.
Unblocking Requirements:
- Update account information
- Submit valid government-issued ID
- Provide artist profiles and social media links
Non-Compliance: Blocked accounts may remain suspended, content removed, and royalties placed in escrow for up to 24 months.
5. Royalties & Escrow
Royalties may be withheld for verification of legitimate end-user accounts, DSP refund claims, or rights holder claims. Funds release only after verification or claim settlement.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must promptly investigate warnings, maintain accurate information, and fully cooperate with fraud investigations. Non-compliance escalates enforcement, potentially including termination.
7. Global Applicability
This policy applies globally to all clients and end-users, designed to comply with international anti-fraud and copyright regulations.
