Rapture wasn't built in a boardroom. In July 2023, Prince Kubheka founded Rapture Music Group after experiencing firsthand what most independent artists deal with every day; rejection from major distributors, platforms that underdeliver, and a system that wasn't built with them in mind.
Rapture began operating in February 2024. Today, over 1,200 independent artists trust the platform, with over 7,000 songs distributed globally; built entirely on the strength of the music, real DSP relationships, and a belief that independent artists deserve better.

From the beginning, Rapture was designed as an ecosystem — not a single service. Distribution is the foundation. Publishing, artist services, analytics, merch, and the connections that come through our network are the layers built on top of it.
Rapture partners with CTRL Music — a publishing administration platform operating across 215 countries — so artists can collect every royalty they're owed. Our Artist and Label Services division operates on an invite-only basis for artists and labels we choose to build with at a deeper level.
The vision has always been the same: give independent artists everything they need to build a career — and connect them to everything they don't have yet.
